Oh-Oku: The Women of the Inner Palace
This movie is visually superb, but it offers a rather ordinary story (We've seen this type of court intrigue many times) and the huge cast of plotting women an their followers make the movie rather confusing in the beginning.
Quite surprisingly for a movie in competition there was absolutely NO production delegation for this movie -- no director, producer or actor came to present the movie -- and no press conference. To me it says “we don't care, please don't vote for us.” But why then bother presenting a movie in competition?
